Embodying Glass

Chris McCormack (theatre critic)

the body knows what the mind is still assessing

Cuisle Productions is one of Galway's most exciting independent physical theatre companies, seeking to present and create new, innovative work by using the body   -  and its witnesses - at the centre of performance.

Imperceptible

A man wakes up in a cave, unsure of where he is, nor how he got there. Beyond his reach, lurking in the shadows, a creature mumbles and sings a nursery rhyme…

Blood On The Moon

A political assassination. A wrongful accusation. 150 years, after his death, James Patrick Whelan returns,  determined to prove his innocence. A compelling revisitation of Whelan's trial. 1 actor, 1 chair, 18 characters.

The Messiness of Human Relationships

A missing book. A symphony of first kisses. A medley of disputed friendships, forgotten families & conflicted selves. An exposé of humanology.

Physical theatre is  a way to communicate the stories that lie in our deepest emotions that cannot be expressed through words. As a leader in the art form, based in the West of Ireland, I want to help champion the development of and engagement with physical theatre as a practice and theatrical form.

Cyr-Cooke demonstrastes a breadth of agility in this challenging production.
